Adult Education

The Adult Education program teaches reading, writing, spelling, and math to adults who read at or below a basic skills level. Students come to the Literacy Council because they want to improve job prospects, help their children in school, prepare for the GED® exam, and better navigate the world around them. Our program offers a one-on-one experience as opposed to a classroom setting.

Although HCLC does not provide the GED® exam, we do offer free preparation services in the form of one-on-one tutoring. These sessions are tailored to meet your needs, identify your strengths, and help support your weaknesses.
